The Belait District Basketball Association (BDBA) is slated to host the annual Aewon Challenge Cup Open 2023 in conjunction with the 77th birthday celebration of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam.
The association is seeking teams to submit their registration forms before the deadline on July 10.
“We hope to attract more basketball players and fans, and at the same time to attract more young people to participate in basketball activities,” said association president Koo Kong Loi.
