The Brunei Basketball Association (BBA) is seeking potential candidates to participate in the upcoming NBA Academy and FIBA Basketball Without Borders programme.

The NBA Academy will be held in Singapore from May 7 to 12 while the FIBA Basketball Without Borders programme (in collaboration with NBA) will be held in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates from June 2 to 5.

Both programmes offer participants an opportunity to be coached by FIBA/NBA players and coaches, improve their basketball talents, and get to know players their age.

In addition to on-court development and competition, participants will also take part in leadership and life skill programming and benefit from the cross-cultural experiences while travelling and interacting with peers from around the world.

NBA and FIBA will cover all expenses incurred by camp participants, including travel costs, accommodation, ground transportation, meal and insurance for the duration of the programme.

The association is looking for Brunei citizens or Permanent Residents born between 2006 and 2008 to fill several spots for the programmes.

Boys and girls interested in participating can report to a tryout session this Sunday from 2pm to 4pm at Brunei Basketball Court, Batu Bersurat.
