BASMIDA takes part in Munajat Night

Women from the National Anti-Drug Association (BASMIDA) attended the 117th Munajat Night from the Al-Ameerah Al-Hajjah Maryam Mosque.

The Munajat was organised especially for the female members of the association.

The special lecture, delivered by Brunei Islamic Religious Council (MUIB) religious lecturer Syafiqah binti Haji Ayop, focused on parents’ role as positive role models to children and responsibilities in providing them with knowledge and guidance against negative influences, such as drug abuse.

The association were joined virtually by muslimah from mosques, suraus and prayer halls. Women personnel from the Ministry of Religious Affairs (MoRA) also attended.

Munajat Night, organised by MoRA, invites the public to intensify and normalise daily religious practices to seek blessings and forgiveness from Allah the Almighty, particularly for protecting the Sultanate from natural disaster and diseases. – Rokiah Mahmud
