The National Anti-Drug Association (BASMIDA) held a Khatam Al-Quran ceremony attended by some 50 members yesterday.
The ceremony at the residence of BASMIDA President Datin Hajah Masni binti Haji Mohd Ali in Kampong Jerudong was in conjunction with National Family Day 2023.
The BASMIDA president in a speech advised that single mothers along with parents and guardians allocate time with their families, adding that if there are problems or conflicts, they should find solutions by following Islamic teaching, having effective communication and not rushing decisions. The ceremony included a Tazkirah by Norhayati binti Haji Abdul Rahman from the Islamic Da’wah Centre (PDI) on Keluargaku, Harapanku. – Rokiah Mahmud
