Twenty-one committee members from the Belait District Basketball Association (BDBA) were inaugurated into their roles for the next three years during a ceremony recently.
The association’s permanent honorary chairman, Lau Shiew Yuen, was present to witness the ceremony.
Chairman Koo Kong Loi, in his speech, highlighted the vital role the association plays in the development of basketball in the district.
“The Belait District Basketball Association has been instrumental in organising basketball tournaments, thanks to the hard work of our past chairman and committee,” Koo stated.
He expressed gratitude to the supporters and sponsors who contributed to the association’s events. “Without their support, the association would not be where we are today,” he added. – Daniel Lim
