The Belait District Basketball Association (BDBA) held an appreciation dinner on Thursday as a nod to a job well done for their members over the course of the year in ensuring activities and tournaments were held to the highest standard.
BDBA Chairman Koo Kong Loi welcomed committee members, as well as referees at the Cheng Wah Restaurant in Seria.
The chairman noted that the appreciation dinner was to celebrate their members’ efforts over the course of the year to ensure the success of the tournaments, especially during the start of the year as the nation shifted towards the endemic phase.
He added that the association has already outlined and planned for more activities and tournaments next year in line with their mission of supporting and growing the sport of basketball in the Belait District.
