Bank Islam Brunei Darussalam (BIBD) reaffirms its commitment to delivering seamless banking services across all branches during regular banking hours.
In the past, BIBD extended its operating hours on specific dates to better assist customers requiring counter services. With the increasing adoption of digital banking platforms such as BIBD NEXGEN, BIBD BizNET, and Self-Service Terminals (ATMs, CDMs, CQMs), the need for these adjustments has significantly decreased.
All branches with counter services, including Main Branch (HQ), Kiulap, Seri, Manggis, Serusop, Muara, Temburong, Tanjung Bunut, Tutong, Seria, and Kuala Belait, operating hours are: Monday to Thursday from 8.30am to 3.45pm; Friday from 8.30am to 11am and 2.30pm to 3.30pm; Saturday from 8.30am to 11.15am; and closed on Sundays and public holidays.
The operating hours will also apply during the bi-monthly government payroll dates.
The growing preference for digital solutions, especially among senior customers, has enhanced efficiency and convenience, reducing the reliance on in-branch counter services.
