Baiduri Bank welcomed 30 Year 10 students from Seri Mulia Sarjana School (SMSS) for an educational visit to its headquarters yesterday. The trip aimed to enhance the students’ financial literacy and understanding of banking operations.

Officers from the bank’s Group Strategic Marketing and Communications Department provided an overview of Baiduri Bank, including its history, products and corporate social responsibility initiatives. The visit also included a financial awareness talk by members of the bank’s wealth management team, who discussed the importance of early financial planning and introduced basic financial tools for saving.

Students concluded the visit with a tour of Baiduri Bank headquarters, including the banking hall, Digital Hub and Baiduri Capital, where they learnt about investment planning.

Baiduri Bank Head of Wealth Management Brian Wong said the school visit aimed to spark interest among younger students in financial savings and budgeting.

By encouraging them to start thinking about managing finances early and introducing available services and tools, the bank is contributing to Brunei’s overall financial awareness and literacy, in line with the objectives of the Brunei Darussalam National Financial Literacy Council, he said.
