Bank Islam Brunei Darussalam (BIBD) yesterday announced a collaborative effort with the JobCentre Brunei (JCB) to host a walk-in interview aimed at recruiting applicants to join the bank’s customer service team.
“As a dynamic organisation that is growing rapidly, BIBD is actively expanding the contact service workforce to help attend to the growing customer base, to significantly reduce wait time and ensure all calls are promptly answered.
“The new hiring will allow BIBD to deliver a more efficient and seamless customer experience,” it said. The walk-in interview will be held on April 19 at JCB in Kampong Beribi from 8.30am to noon and 2pm to 4pm with BIBD looking to secure up to 40 new hires.
Successful applicants will undergo a comprehensive two-day onboarding session followed by a week of on-the-job training to equip them with the skills and knowledge to ease into their role and excel at it in the future.
Successful candidates will be expected to deliver support to various communication channels, including phone calls, emails, and chat functionalities, the bank said.
