Bank joins BN on the Move corporate challenge

Baiduri Bank is partnering with Ministry of Health (MoH) for the BN on the Move corporate challenge that was announced during BruHealth app update on Wellness Open Day at Baiduri Community Space recently.

Baiduri Bank Deputy Head of Group Human Resources Chiam Chin Huei said the bank is the first company to collaborate with the MoH for the challenge.

Among the activities include the bank’s Employee Wellness Initiative (EWI) ‘100 Day Wellness Challenge’ that began on October 9 and runs until January 19, 2024.

Over 170 participants registered for the EWI challenge covering mental, physical, spiritual and financial wellness featuring fitness classes, mindfulness workshops and healthy eating resources as well as friendly competitions and challenges.

A collective goal of 60 million steps were set and it will count towards the nationwide ’80 Billion Steps Together’ campaign.

Acting Head of Health Promotion Centre Dr Siti Rosemawati binti Haji Md Yusof welcomed the partnership, noting that the links between employee health and workplace productivity are well documented.

“The new corporate challenge launched as part of the BN on the Move campaign is one way for organisations to support a healthy workforce and we view this as an important aspect to our whole-of-society approach to improving health and well-being in Brunei Darussalam,” said Dr Siti Rosemawati.
