Brunei’s media organisations were lauded for their professionalism and commitment to education during Baiduri Bank’s media appreciation night at the JHotel Banquet Hall on Friday.
Around 80 journalists, editors, photographers and videographers were treated to a buffet, games and lucky draw prizes during the galactic-themed night.
Baiduri Bank Chief Executive Officer Ti Eng Hui said, “In an era where information is at our fingertips, it is more important than ever to appreciate the value of professional journalism.”
He also highlighted the media’s importance in educating the public and subsequently realising Brunei Vision 2035.
