Perbadanan Tabung Amanah Islam Brunei (Perbadanan TAIB) held its annual dinner at the Indera Samudra Grand Hall, The Empire Brunei on Saturday in conjunction with the 33rd anniversary of its establishment.
Perbadanan TAIB Managing Director Datin Hajah Hasnah binti Haji Ibrahim underscored the organisation’s steadfast commitment to innovation and excellence and expressed gratitude for the organisation’s achievements, including the Payment Initiatives of the Year Award from Asian Banking and Finance.
She highlighted the significance of the organisation’s Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) certification, which ensures the security of customer data in line with international standards.
The event saw the champions of the TAIB Group of Companies (TGOC) Interhouse Sports Tournament 2024 receive their trophy and prize, as well as a lucky draw.
Minister of Religious Affairs Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Haji Awang Othman, as the Advisor to Perbadanan TAIB’s Board of Directors; Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Minister of Defence II Pehin Datu Lailaraja Major General (Rtd) Dato Paduka Seri Awang Haji Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof, in his capacity as the Chairman of Perbadanan TAIB Board of Directors; and Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Minister of Finance and Economy II Dato Seri Setia Dr Awang Haji Mohd Amin Liew bin Abdullah as the Advisor to Perbadanan TAIB’s Board of Directors were present.
Assistant State Mufti (‘Ifta) as the Chairman of Perbadanan TAIB’s Syariah Advisory Committee Dato Seri Setia Dr Haji Dennie bin Haji Abdullah also attended. – Lyna Mohamad
