A large number of students from recently visited the Balai Khazanah Islam Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah (BKISHHB). The visit comprised students and teachers from Lumapas Religious School, Masin Religious School, Hassanal Bolkiah Arabic Boy’s Secondary School (SMALHB), Belait Arabic School, Kampong Bolkiah Religious School, and Ukong Primary School.
According to the representative of the visiting delegations, the study visit was part of the co-curricular activities organised by the schools to provide exposure to students on the Islamic collection materials belonging to His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam.
The visit also aimed to foster and instil values among students particularly in their pursuit of knowledge beyond school environments as well as acquiring new experiences.
The BKISHHB is planning various programmes and activities centred around learning and knowledge sharing to fulfil its vision of becoming a centre for Islamic intellectual heritage, capable of reviving the culture of knowledge.
