Baiduri Bank continued its annual ‘Let’s Give Back This Ramadhan’ initiative with a shopping and sungkai event with 10 underprivileged families from the Temburong District on Wednesday.
The event took place at Hua Ho Department Store, OneCity Shopping Centre, where volunteers from Baiduri Bank arranged a shopping activity for the families. Similar to the previous years, this year’s initiative is organised through ‘Baiduri Cares’.
Present to shop with the volunteers on Wednesday was Baiduri Bank Deputy Chief Executive Officer (Compliance, Corporate Governance and Legal Support) Manuel Bulens, who said, “The Baiduri Cares programme encourages employees to give back to the community and the ‘Let’s Give Back This Ramadhan’ initiative is the one of many volunteering events that the Bank plan this year.“
Baiduri Finance Managing Director Haji Haliluddin bin Dato Seri Paduka Haji Talib, Head of Corporate Banking Leonard Lee and Head of Group Information and Technology Division Simon Hansman were also present.
