In line with its corporate social responsibility (CSR) in helping the needy, a delegation from Baiduri Bank, led by Chief Executive Officer (CEO)Ti Eng Hui, visited Chung Hua Middle School Kuala Belait (CHMS KB) on May 23.
Principal Dr Chong Kui Kian led the delegation on a tour of the school facilities, with briefings conducted on the school’s history, mission and vision, as well as the activities and developments notched over the years, delivered by two Year 11 students – Herman Wong Xiu Hong and Akarsh Arun Kumar.
A donation was also presented to underprivileged students, to lessen their financial burden and allow them to be more focussed and motivated in their studies.
The CEO stressed on the importance of education, believing in the need to invest in the future of promising students.
Dr Chong expressed gratitude for the bank’s continuous commitment in supporting the education of students at the school, particularly the underprivileged.
