‘Back to School’ on Teacher’s Day celebration

Fairview School marked Teacher’s Day with a celebration themed ‘Back to School’ on Monday. The event was held at the school grounds in Jalan Manggis Satu.

The celebration honoured the teachers who have educated and guided the nation’s children, especially the students of Fairview School. It also aimed to strengthen relationships among teachers, students and school staff.

The event began with the national anthem, followed by recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah and a Doa led by Year 4 student Mohd Hilmi’ Baihaqi bin Haji Mohd Halimi. Kindergarten students performed the song Thank You Teacher Thank You, while students from Year 1 to Year 5 presented Guruku Harapan Negara, Syukran Guruku and Cukup Indah. Teachers also participated in a game while students joined a quiz.

Fairview School Managing Director Dato Seri Laila Jasa Haji Ahmad bin Dato Paduka Matnor and Fairview School Head of Administration Datin Paduka Hajah Fatimah binti Dato Paduka Haji Mohd Husain attended as guests of honour.

The annual celebration is a joyous occasion for students and teachers alike, fostering memories of teachers’ kindness, generosity and contributions to students’ academic achievements and societal success.
