The Language and Literature Bureau (DBP) and Putra Seni group conducted its monthly ‘Baca Bahana’ series for October, where they highlighted artists featured in the Bahana magazine’s online platform.
The theme, ‘We Care’, was chosen to align with World Mental Health Day and Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
The event commenced with the recitation of Al-Fatihah, followed by a welcoming speech from Head of DBP’s Literature and Magazine Division Dr Haji Mohd Ali bin Haji Radin.
The event drew the participation of local writers and artists and as well as those from Malaysia and Indonesia. The Baca Bahana project aims to foster connections among writers and artists while providing a platform for their creative works and achievements. – Fadley Faisal
