An Azan and Rawi competitions was recently organised by the Students Affairs Division of the Religious Teachers University College of Seri Begawan (KUPU SB) to mark His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam’s 76th birthday celebration at the festive stage of the Jalan Bendahara car park area in the capital.
Dean of Student Affairs at KUPU SB Dr Haji Mohammad Shahrol Azmi bin Haji Abdul Muluk attended as the guest of honour.
Mohammad Syafiq bin Mohammad Suhardie was named champion of the Azan contest, while Siti Nurlyana binti Abdullah Emran won the Rawi competition.
The event attracted the participation of 10 students.
