Eighty retirees recently attended a reunion at the Jeruton Hotel in Jerudong, with Halil bin Haji Lakim helming the organising team.
At the retired teachers’ reunion, Haji Hambali bin Awang Tengah and Haji Yahya bin Haji Abdul Rahman received Special Retired Teachers’ Award in conjunction with the 32nd Teacher’s Day Celebration 2022.
Further enlivening the event was a cake-cutting led by the event chairman, following which 10 retirees received special gifts.
The event also saw a handover of donations for primary school orphans, basic food necessities to new Muslim converts in the Temburong District, and contributions to a needy family in Kampong Sungai Lampai, Brunei-Muara District.
