The Chinese Chamber of Commerce in the Belait District (CCC Belait) celebrated its 67th anniversary at the Grand Ballroom of V-Plaza Hotel on Sunday.
Over 200 guests, comprising committee members of the CCC of Bandar Seri Begawan, led by president Lim Han Chiong, as well as supporters and families participated. The event began with a welcoming address from CCC Belait President Loo Soon Nin followed by a cake-cutting ceremony.
Also held was the presentation of long service awards and scholarship funds to Chung Hwa Labi, Chung Lian Sungai Liang, Chung Ching Middle School Seria, and Chung Hua Middle School Kuala Belait.
The event also saw performances and a lucky draw, with the organising chairman of the celebration Lim Tzy Wang concluding the celebration with a closing speech. – Daniel Lim
