Assistant State Mufti (Buhuth) Dato Seri Setia Dr Haji Mazanan bin Haji Yusof left for Selangor, Malaysia yesterday as a representative of State Mufti Pehin Datu Seri Maharaja Dato Paduka Seri Setia (Dr) Ustaz Haji Awang Abdul Aziz bin Juned to present a working keynote paper on ‘Laws and Fatwas on Zakat Collection and Distribution: Brunei’s Experience’ at the special edition of Zakat Nusantara Year 2023 Dialogue.
He was accompanied by Buhuth Officer at the State Mufti’s Office Haji Martino @ Abdul Azim.
Organised by the Fatwa and Halal Institute at Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM) with the cooperation of the Selangor Zakat Board, the dialogue is held from today to June 22.
