LONDON (XINHUA) – Asian economies are expected to lead global growth in 2025 despite challenges, according to a report released by the London-based think tank Asia House.
The report details how digital acceleration, increasing consumer spending, and a focus on green initiatives are driving the region’s progress.
It incorporates insights from nearly 100 business leaders to provide a comprehensive analysis of emerging trends.
“Asia continues to demonstrate its resilience in the face of global turbulence,” chief executive of Asia House Michael Lawrence OBE said. Chief economist of Shell Mallika Ishwaran underscored Asia’s pivotal role in the energy transition. She emphasised that Asia is well-positioned to become a leading supplier of goods and services driving the transformation.
The rising demand for these products will provide a significant competitive advantage for the region’s economies, she added.
