ASEAN Youth Digital Forum wraps up in Kuala Lumpur

The ASEAN Youth Organization (AYO) hosted the ASEAN Youth Digital Forum 2023 in Kuala Lumpur on November 15 and 16.

The conference served as a platform for the convergence of young leaders, providing an opportunity to exchange ideas and solutions for a future marked by digital resilience.

Some 250 ASEAN and international youth leaders and change-makers from 15 countries attended the event themed ‘Building Resilient ASEAN Digital Economy: Youth Entrepreneurs and Intellectual Property Rights’.

The forum was organised by AYO in collaboration with the ASEAN Secretariat, Selangor Youth Community, and World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO).

The conference encompassed three-panel discussions, one-on-one consultations, and networking sessions, covering topics ranging from the digital economy and policy to branding.

Delegates collaboratively formulated international project plans addressing challenges and opportunities outlined in the Youth Declaration. The event concluded with a dinner and celebration.

Since its inception in 2018, AYO has successfully orchestrated six ASEAN Youth Conferences, fostering youth exploration and capacity development.

Founder of AYO Senjaya Mulia envisions sustained initiatives empowering youth-driven policies and fostering young leaders in ASEAN and partnering countries, contributing to community resilience and regional development.
