The meeting between Arbisyam FC and Shah United FC promises to be an enthralling encounter as they bid to collect their first points of the Brunei Elite Futsal League (BEFL) 2024/2025 season at the Universiti Brunei Darussalam Sports Complex today.
The two teams, which were left empty-handed during their first game, will meet with their own quest and strengths to attain victory. Arbisyam slipped to a 2-1 defeat to Kota Rangers BK FC while Shah United lost 8-4 to Almerez Hitune FC.
Arbisyam head coach Khairulazim bin Abdullah said, “Our previous loss is not a true measure of our team’s ability. Every game is different, and we have learnt from our mistakes from the past game.
“Our strategy is still the same, but this time we will pay more attention and increase awareness on the defensive side.”
The head coach shared that their focus is to maintain their discipline and seize on every opportunity which is presented to them.
The former title challengers are confident in the ability of the team, which consists young and new players, to provide stern competition.
Meanwhile, Shah United head coach Pengiran Asrul Asdynee Pengiran Shahdon lamented his team’s failings by not seizing on their opportunities and making numerous errors which allowed their opponents to score.
With that in mind, the head coach seems to have an idea how to fine-tune his side’s attack in their hopes to spring up a good result this time around.
He said, “We will line up young players to speed up our game play and increase sharpness in our next match.”
The head coach also admitted that his charges are blending well especially with the rhythm highlighted by both the local and import players in addition to the chemistry of the players which is growing apparent.
