Bandar Seri Begawan Arabic Preparatory School held a graduation ceremony to celebrate the achievements of 210 Year 6 students, in line with Brunei Vision 2035’s goal of fostering a highly educated and skilled population.
The event, held in Kiulap, featured a prize presentation ceremony to honour outstanding students and teachers.
Head of the Public Relations Unit at the Islamic Studies Department, Ministry of Religious Affairs Izwandy bin Haji Hamdan was the guest of honour.
The ceremony began with recitation of Selawat Tafrijiyyah, followed by Al-Quran verses and their interpretation and the national and school anthems.
School headmaster Pengiran Hasinol Zamri bin Pengiran Haji Piut in a speech expressed pride in the students’ accomplishments.
Awards were presented to top-performing students, including those who achieved five As in the Primary School Assessment (PSR) and top three students from each class. Special awards were also given to recognise academic achievement and exemplary teaching.
The event concluded with cultural performances, including a tri-lingual choral recitation and a song. – Fadley Faisal
