The Embassy of Japan in Brunei Darussalam is accepting applications for the Japanese-Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) 2022 from August 15 to September 2.
The JLPT 2022 will be held on December 4 at the Language Centre, Universiti Brunei Darussalam.
The JLPT has been offered by the Japan Foundation since 1984 as a reliable means of evaluating and certifying the Japanese proficiency of non-native speakers.
In Brunei, the JLPT was launched in 2008, and has been held every December since then.
JLPT certificates offer advantages, ranging from recognition as academic credit and graduation certification at schools to preferential treatment at companies and the acknowledgement of qualification in society.
Those interested in the test are required to submit the application form to the Embassy no later than September 2.
The test guide, which includes the application form, is available at the Embassy of Japan’s Culture and Education Section counter.
