Applications for the Technical and Vocational Education Scholarship Scheme (BPTV) for the academic year 2023/2024 specifically for eligible ‘O’ Level school leavers to pursue higher education at local private higher institutions opens today and will close at 4pm on April 15, the Ministry of Education (MoE) through the Department of Scholarship Management announced yesterday.
The BPTV scheme is offered by the Government of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, which envisaged to fulfil the increasing demand for technical and vocational education in the Sultanate.
The scheme provides opportunities for school leavers at the ‘O’ Level to continue studies to a higher level with the hope to envision Brunei Vision 2035 in producing educated and highly skilled citizens.
The public, especially ‘O’ Level school leavers meeting the requirements, can apply for the BPTV Scholarship Scheme.

Completed forms and documents must be submitted through the procedures set by the Department of Scholarship Management, MoE no later than 4pm on April 15.
