Members of the Village Council Area 2 of Kampong Panchor Mentiri National Housing conducted its annual ‘Rahmah Syawal Project’ yesterday where donations were presented to 10 families made up of single mothers and families in need in Area 2 of the housing scheme.
Village Head Haji Mohammad Eddie Hardey bin Haji Awang Ibrahim in his capacity as Chairman of the MPK Area 2 led the project.
The donations were collected in the form of basic necessities contributed by MPK Area 2, Al-Risqi Enterprise and village residents. The 21 recipients also received cash donations contributed by MPK committee members, families and friends of Brunei Women Graduate.
Members of AJKT, family and friends of the Brunei Graduate Association also made donations. – Lyna Mohamad
