An ambulance was donated to the Brunei Darussalam Red Crescent Society (BRC) by the Jerudong Park Medical Centre (JPMC) to support the organisation’s work at a handover ceremony at JPMC on Thursday.
Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Health Haji Maswadi bin Haji Mohsin, who is also a Board member of JPMC, was the guest of honour.
The ambulance, equipped with state-of-the-art medical equipment, will enhance the BRC’s ability to respond to emergencies and ensure fast, life-saving medical care, said JPMC in a statement.
“As a healthcare institution, we recognise the critical importance of fast and effective emergency care,” said JPMC Acting Chief Operating Officer Bun Pei Ling.
“We recognise the invaluable role that the Brunei Darussalam Red Crescent Society plays in providing vital medical assistance to people in need, especially in times of crisis and emergencies.”
