Permanent Secretary (Community) at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports Hajah Nor Ashikin binti Haji Johari received a donation of BND38,949.75 for the Humanitarian Fund for Palestinians in Gaza 2023 from Miftah An-Nur Islamic International School yesterday.
The donation was handed over by students Bazli Albarr bin Haji Mohammad Albadii Shahnoel, Sophora Butt, Yahya Ibrahim and Fikriyah Halizan. The funds were raised through a charity bake sale.
Community Development Department’s Acting Director Fauziah binti Haji Mohd Salleh, the school‘s secondary section head Sabiqur Rahman and human resources head Maimunah binti Aziz were present. – James Kon
