Almerez HiTune FC, one of the top performing sides in the Brunei Elite Futsal League, received fresh enthusiasm on their establishment following the unveiling of the club’s logo, jersey and official song.
Chief Executive Officer of HiTune Group of Companies Hernah Nur Imani Muhd Jeffrey said the collaboration with Almerez FC is one of the initiatives and manifestation of commitment to the development of futsal in the country.
“The logo, new jersey and official song that was launched symbolise the club’s identity, fighting spirit and vision to achieve success specially in the Brunei Elite Futsal League and subsequently at local and foreign tournaments,” she said during a launch ceremony held at the FABD Theatre recently.
The historic moment that signifies the evolution and progress of Almerez Hitune FC in the country’s futsal scene was inaugurated by FABD Acting President Pengiran Kamarunsalehin bin Pengiran Kamis as the guest of honour.
Chairman of Hitune Group of Companies Pengiran Zamri bin Pengiran Haji Bujang and members of the FABD Executive Committee were also present.
Meanwhile Almerez HiTune FC Head Coach Haji Mohd Abdul Azim bin Haji Zakaria said, “We are also very pleased with the strategic combination between Almerez and Hitune Group of Companies to strengthen the club’s management structure and open up opportunities to take Almerez to a higher level.”
He said the club will aim for huge and excellent achievements in 2025 including being at the top of the Brunei Elite Futsal League in addition to winning tournaments with consistency and improving the performance of the team.
“We will continue the development of youth squads such as the under-12 and under-15 teams because they represent the future of this club.”
“Besides that, we will continue to try to make history and raise the profile of Brunei Darussalam in the futsal arena.”
Almerez was established in 2018 with a single main vision to become a platform for the development of futsal in Brunei Darussalam. – Fadhil Yunus
