Almerez HiTune FC produced an impressive performance with a huge 10-0 victory over Futbolismo FC in a friendly match at the Miri Indoor Stadium in Sarawak, Malaysia recently.
The friendly match serves as preparations for the ongoing Brunei Elite Futsal League (BEFL) 2024/2025 edition, where they hope to be one of the teams challenging for the title.
Almerez HiTune FC Head Coach Haji Muhd Azim bin Haji Zakaria said, “Besides preparation for the BEFL season, the friendly match also aims to strengthen the mind and improve the performance of the players in facing foreign teams.”
He said this encounter clearly featured a different way of playing with a higher intensity that tested the reputation of all the players.
The head coach was also visibly delighted with the ability of the players to implement game tactics and match strategy as well as the execution of ‘power play’, leading to a massive victory.
“We hope this good momentum can be maintained for the next BEFL match,” he added.
Futbolismo FC are considered one of the best futsal teams in Miri, boasting experience participating in local futsal tournaments, including the Miri Hero Futsal League 2022/2023.
They will also participate in the Yakin Madani Futsal League which is set to commence this week.
HiTune Group of Companies and Yakin Football League Chief Executive Officer Hernah Nur Imani binti Muhd Jeffrey and Managing Director Pengiran Zamri bin Pengiran Haji Bujang attended the match. – Fadhil Yunus
