Almerez HiTune FC showed their might in the Brunei Elite Futsal League (BEFL) 2024/2025 after thumping sorry Arbisyam FC 9-1 at the Multipurpose Hall of the Hassanal Bolkiah National Sports Complex on Saturday.
Almerez HiTune FC head coach Haji Abdul Azim bin Zakaria said, “This valuable victory and the success of getting full points proves the high commitment and meticulous preparation made after a long break gave positive results.”
Despite the great success, Almerez HiTune still have high hopes, especially in the finishing aspect that needs improvement so that all the opportunities presented can be completed more effectively.
He also touched on the players’ fitness levels that need to be improved to ensure they can maintain the intensity of the game throughout the match.
Almerez Hitune’s goal feast was inspired by hat-tricks from Iqbal Pasaribu and Iranian import Abolfazl Minouei Hussein, while the other three goals were scored by Radi Raduan, Harith Hidawi and Ahmad Afif As’ad.
Khairul Azim Abdullah’s men denied a clean sheet for the rampant Almerez HiTune after Mohd Aminuddin Shah Haji Rosman scored a consolation for Arbisyam.
