In conjunction with the Allied Health Professionals Day celebrated worldwide in the month of October, the Ministry of Health organised the Allied Health Professions Symposium on Sunday at the Dewan Al’-Afiah, Ministry of Health.
With the theme centred on ‘Healthy Ageing’, the symposium provides a valuable opportunity for all Allied Health Professionals to unite and spotlight the significant impact they have in delivering high-quality care to patients of all ages with a special focus on the elderly population. It aims to bring together consultants, health practitioners, health care workers and professional experts working together and exploring pivotal aspects of enhancing well-being amongst elderly.
The half-day symposium was attended by Minister of Health Dato Seri Setia Dr Haji Mohammad Isham bin Haji Jaafar as guest of honour.
