The Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali (UNISSA) Open Day welcomes the public, prospective students such as those who have just completed the Brunei-Cambridge GCE A-level, the Brunei Religious Education Higher Certificate (STPUB), National Diploma and comparable qualifications, UNISSA Academic Management Office officer Nurhamizah binti Ibrahim said.
It is the first time that the university is hosting its open day at the Sinaut Campus, which also offers consultation with the faculty.
The open day serves as a medium to provide a clearer view of the programmes on offer, information on co-curricular activities and gives students an opportunity to interact with UNISSA academics directly.
It also aims to promote the university’s Sinaut Campus as well as offer convenience to visitors coming from Tutong and Belait districts.
For the new academic session, UNISSA is offering various diploma, Bachelor’s degree, Master’s degree and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) programmes including Usuluddin, Shariah and Law, Arabic Language, Islamic Economics and Finance, Islamic Development Management, Islamic Technology, Agriculture, Mazhab Shafi’i Research and Halalan Thayyiban Research.
