An information sharing session with the Ministry of Finance and Economy (MoFE) was held yesterday to strengthen communications between government agencies and to uphold and strengthen the good image of Brunei Darussalam.
Acting Director of Information cum Chairperson of Public Relations Committee of government ministries and departments Siti Bismi Nuruliman binti Haji Emzah led 55 officers and media practitioners in the programme. The participants represented 12 ministries.
Acting Assistant Director of Human Resources Development and Corporate Affairs Hajah Rozaidah binti Haji Abdul Rahman briefed the public relations (PR) officers on MoFE’s corporate communications strategic plan, the challenges and means to tackle them.
She also shared strategic plans on the dissemination of projects and services under the ministry.
The Public Relations Committee for government ministries and departments was set up on March 8, 1997, with the Information Department appointed as the Secretariat to ensure the core aspirations of its establishment can be implemented properly.
