Alak Betatar emerged as winners of the Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD) Inter-Staff Academy of Brunei Studies (APB) Director Cup held in conjunction with the 39th National Day at the UBD football fields.
Amar Pahlawan finished runners-up while Awang Jerambak settled for third place.
Meanwhile, Pateh Berbai and Nakhoda Ragam came fourth and fifth.
Mohammad Syazwi bin Suhaimi of Alak Betatar was awarded best player in the open category, with Muhd Nur’Naqiuddin bin Haji Osman of Amar Pahlawan collected the top scorer award.
In the veteran category, Emil Zahrin bin Haji Ali of Pateh Berbai was awarded best player while Pengiran Sajali bin Pengiran Haji Idris of Amar Pahlawan scooped the top scorer gong. Mohammad Najib bin Ja’afri of Alak Betatar was named the best goalkeeper of the tournament.
UBD Vice-Chancellor Dr Hazri bin Haji Kifle was the guest of honour.
APB Director Dr Haji Tassim bin Haji Abu Bakar was also present.
The tournament was organised by the APB, UBD.
