The semi-final round of Al-Quran Memorisation and its Understanding Competition for 1444 Hijrah will be held from February 14 to 16 at the lecture hall of Institut Tahfiz Al-Quran Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah (ITQSHHB), Simpang 175, Km 2, Jalan Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha, the Ministry of Religious Affairs through the MABIMS Al-Quran Studies and Dissemination Centre announced.
Sixty participants in category ‘E’ will compete on February 14.
Twelve readers will recite Al-Quran from 8am to noon. From 1.45pm onwards, readers from Category ‘D’ will compete.
On February 15, 12 Category ‘C’ readers will compete from 8am to noon, with Category ‘B’ taking over from 1.45pm onwards, also with 12 readers.
February 16 will see 12 readers from Category ‘A’ competing from 8am to noon.
Meanwhile the announcement of winners and presentation of souvenirs will take place on February 16 at the lecture hall of ITQSHHB, Jalan Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha.
