Al-Quran reader off to memorisation competition in Dubai

Abdul Aziz bin Noor Nasran left for Dubai, United Arab Emirates on Tuesday to compete in the 26th Dubai International Al-Quran memorisation competition from 1st-14th of Ramadhan.

Abdul Aziz has been successful in a number of memorisation competitions, notably winning the Al-Quran Memorisation and and its Understanding competition at the national level in 2019 and 2020. He is also a recipient of a special degree in 30 chapters of Al-Quran memorisation.

Abdul Aziz was accompanied by the Deputy Principal of ‘Aliyah Qiraat Diploma Studies at Institut Tahfiz Al Quran Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah (ITQSHHB) Mohammad Ali Sabri bin Haji Yusof as his manager and trainer.

Head of Islamic Eminence Division Hassan Baha bin Haji Umar; Principal of ITQSHHB Pengiran Haji Amiruddin bin Pengiran Haji Damit, and Head of Public Relations, International and MABIMS at the Ministry of Religious Affairs Pengiran Muhammad Azrin bin Pengiran Jarail were present at the airport to bid farewell.
