The long-standing team spirit of AKSE Bersatu has resulted in the creation of a new logo with a fresher and more competitive identity and brand while at the same time reflecting the team’s spirit in upholding the value of unity among the village community.

AKSE Bersatu President Haji Fadillah bin Haji Samat highlighted this in his welcoming remarks during the unveiling of the club’s new logo at the Mercury Hall, StarLodge in Jerudong yesterday.

Permanent Secretary (Administration, Finance and Estate) at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports Pengiran Mohd Amirrizal bin Pengiran Haji Mahmud officiated the launch of the new logo.

The new logo features the club’s distinctive colours in yellow and red and carries its signature phrase ‘Teguh Bersatu Setia Didadaku’.

The club, which marked its 10th anniversary this year, also presented souvenirs to former AKSE players as a token of appreciation.

The event also served to strengthen closer ties among former players and legends with new players as well as remembering the services of the Purih Kampong Rangau/ Kampong Setia communities who had been the driving force and catalyst behind the establishment of the AKSE team since its origins around

the 1960s. Since the establishment of the AKSE team around the 1960s and the establishment of the AKSE Bersatu team – the merging between AKSE and Setia Bersatu- several plans had been arranged and implemented through phases among others to establish cooperation with welfare organisations in the efforts towards contributing to the community.

AKSE Bersatu had also planned to hold a grassroots football development programme mainly for residents in Kampong Setia.

The club also made efforts to make strategic measures in supporting the development of the local football industry.
