AKSE Bersatu announced the arrival of two new foreign imports following a contract signing ceremony at the HiTune Office at Bangunan PA Hajah Rafeah in Kampong Mata-Mata yesterday.

Ivory Coast’s Vouzon Christ Max Junior and Nigeria’s Kelvin Kudus Momoh have inked deals which will see them represent the club in the Brunei Super League 2023 season.

Kudus said, “First and foremost, I would like to thank the management of the team and the president for welcoming me to the family.

“My expectation is quite simple: give 100 per cent to the team. I’m not only here to be part of the team but I’m also here to be a champion.”

He added, “I will give my best and Insya Allah, at the end of the season, AKSE Bersatu will be crowned champions.”

Kudus, who plays as a defender, previously played in Myanmar’s second division featuring clubs such as Mawyawadi FC, Sagaing United and Rakhine United before spending time in India with Balgopal Talim.

Max, who plays as a striker, has also featured for clubs in Congo and Niger.

The pair joins Nigeria’s Abdul Fattah @ Babatunde Abiodun Fatai and Sarawak’s Malone Bian Andrew as the club’s assembly of foreign imports this season.
