Brunei Super League 2023 high flyers AKSE Bersatu have underlined their intent to reach new heights in their storied history following the additions of two professional players and a head coach.

The club pulled off a major coup as Nigeria’s Abdul Fattah @ Babatunde Abiodun Fatai and Sarawak’s Malone Bian Andrew put pen to paper during an official contract signing ceremony at the Bridex Hall in Jerudong yesterday.

The two newly-signed imports expressed their happiness and they are excited with their new adventure.

The contract signing was led by AKSE Bersatu Managing Director Faisal bin Haji Lamat and Technical Manager Mutalib bin Haji Bakar, and witnessed by Pengiran Zamree bin Pengiran Haji Bujang and Imani from HiTune Group of Companies’ management.

The club has also roped in the services of former national coach Rosanan Samak.

He added the additions will guide the squad senior and youth teams.

The club’s players have also been recognised for their performances after young player Muhammad Zainul Ariffin bin Mahdinee has been named in the Under-22 national squad to undergo training this month.

The AKSE Bersatu representative also expressed hopes to make the step-up not only in the domestic level but also in the continental level.

Newly-appointed head coach Rosanan Samak thanked the club for trusting him and vowed to give his full commitment to the club to compete in the Brunei Super League.
