The Authority for Info-communications Technology Industry of Brunei Darussalam (AITI) marked its 20th anniversary with a Doa Kesyukuran at Suri Seri Begawan Raja Pengiran Anak Damit Mosque, Kampong Madang yesterday.
Minister of Transport and Infocommunications Pengiran Dato Seri Setia Shamhary bin Pengiran Dato Paduka Haji Mustapha attended the event.
Deputy Minister of the Department of Energy at the Prime Minister’s Office, in his capacity as AITI Chairman, Dato Seri Paduka Awang Haji Matsatejo bin Sokiaw; Deputy Permanent Secretary (Infocommunications) at the Ministry of Transport and Infocommunications (MTIC) Haji Hairul Mohd Daud bin Haji Abdul Karim; Acting Deputy Permanent Secretary (Transport) at the MTIC Haji Mohd Salihin bin Haji Aspar; and AITI Chief Executive Ir Haji Jailani bin Haji Buntar were also present.
AITI’s members of authority, directors and officers, MTIC officers; InfoCom Federation Brunei (IFB) members and telecommunications service providers and ICT companies representatives also attended the ceremony.
The event began with mass recitation of Surah Yaasiin, Tahlil and Doa Kesyukuran, led by Muhammad Khaizuran Amali bin Haji Kamsani, followed by mass Asar and Sunnat Hajat prayers.
