As part of the club’s continued effort to help the local community, the Lions Club of Bandar Seri Begawan (BSB) recently donated food and toiletries to the Community Isolation Centre at National Service Programme (PKBN) Training Camp in Batu Apoi.

Due to the third COVID-19 wave, there is a growing demand for food and toiletries such as instant noodles, coffee, tea, biscuits, soaps, detergent, and hand sanitiser for patients in isolation. The club took the initiative to collect these necessities through its ‘Kindness Charity Group’.

Handing over the donation to the centre was the chairperson for the project, Immediate Past President Sushell Kaur, accompanied by Past President Tay Kim Swee and President Dr Namasivayam.

The items were received by the centre’s Jeffry Damit and Dayangku Kemariah binti Pengiran Haji Duraman.
