Brunei Gas Carriers Sdn Bhd (BGC) yesterday achieved a milestone with the signing of an extension agreement for the Amani time charter party with Brunei LNG.
“The continuation of this agreement is important as it plays a significant role in ensuring the safe, reliable and sustainable maritime transportation of liquified natural gas (LNG) to the Sultanate’s customers internationally,” said Managing Director of BGC Captain Abdul Mateen Abdurrahman Liew.
Deputy Minister (Energy) at the Prime Minister’s Office Dato Seri Paduka Awang Haji Matsatejo bin Sokiaw attended the signing at the BGC Office in Jerudong.
The time charter party services provided by LNG Carrier ‘Amani’ will be extended for a further 10 years effective November 2024.
Captain Abdul Mateen Abdurrahman Liew inked the extension agreement for BGC while Brunei LNG was represented by its managing director and chief executive officer Hajah Farida binti Dato Seri Paduka Haji Talib.
