    AGM highlights achievements

Persatuan Kemajuan Insan (KESAN) recently held its annual general meeting (AGM), bringing together its committee members to reflect on achievements, elect its Executive Committees for the year, and align on its 2025 strategy.

The meeting set a positive tone for the year ahead, emphasising collaboration and growth.

One of the key highlights of the AGM was the organisation’s commitment to partnering with universities during their first-year orientation programmes in July 2025.

KESAN will deliver its signature University Student Survival Guide programme, empowering new students with essential skills and knowledge to thrive academically and personally.

Additionally, KESAN aims to elevate its graduated catalysts – mentees who have completed their programme in 2024 – by providing project and workshop facilitator opportunities. The initiative aligns with the organisation’s vision to foster holistic individuals through leadership and structured mentoring.

“We have helped approximately 1,300 university students last year through our goal setting workshop and mentored 79 youth from various universities for four months. This year we hope to help more and thus we need to prepare ourselves towards that,” said President of KESAN Haziq Hisyam.

“Those who has nothing cannot give anything. Hence, one needs to learn and go out of their comfort zone,” he added.
