The Britain Brunei Business Forum (BBBF) hosted an afternoon tea event for its members to meet Waitrose and Partners Commercial Lead for Export/International B2B Sales Tom Richards and Senior Business Manager International Firoza Kholwadia on Wednesday at Laksamana College of Business (LCB).
Local business leaders engaged with representatives from the British brand, known for its 120-year history and regional growth.
BBBF Chair Pengiran Aki Ismasufian bin Pengiran Haji Ibrahim, in a statement delivered by Executive Committee Member of BBBF, Chief Operating Officer and Deputy Principal at LCB Dr Sivarajah Subramaniam said, “The event marks an important step in fostering business ties among our members and for Waitrose & Partners to understand the dynamics of our local retail market.”
The event concluded with a networking session and an afternoon tea featuring Waitrose products available in the Sultanate prepared by LCB’s chefs and students of The Culinary School. – Lyna Mohamad
