The heavy rains in Dubai, United Arab Emirates that halted air traffic, damaged buildings and streets, submerged cars, clogged highways and saw a number of fatalities last week, had fine weather on Wednesday morning.
Hiromi, a Japanese national who lived in Brunei until last year before moving to her new posting in Dubai, shared that after days of heavy rain resulting in flooded neighbourhoods, she and her husband woke up on Wednesday to beautiful weather.
As of April 17 the weather has been fine. However the bus service is still suspended in some areas, she added. – Lyna Mohamad
