Active weather condition is expected to persist until Saturday, the Brunei Darussalam Meteorological Department said yesterday.
Occasional heavy thundery showers are expected with wind gust that may reach up to 45 kilometres per hour during or near heavy showers. There is also a risk of flash floods, especially at low-lying, flood prone areas and near river banks during continuous heavy rain and high tide.
Landslide and fallen trees are also possible during heavy showers and gusty condition.
The public is advised to take precautions to ensure safety during the active weather condition. – Azlan Othman
