To celebrate the end of a second school term, Chung Hwa School Kiudang held a ‘No Uniform Day’ for students, allowing casual clothes to be worn to school.
Throughout the day, teachers incorporate games into their lessons to motivate the students and encourage a positive learning attitude.
Games-based learning can help develop problem-solving skills and encourage critical thinking.
Students played Maths Jenga, Maths Bingo, Spelling Jenga, English/Chinese Whispers, Charade, Scrabble, and other similar games.
At the end of the event, prizes were presented to winners of the Mental Mathematics Competition to Year 1 to 6 students by the school’s Principal Loo Shee Yun.
